About
Fenia
I am an experienced integrative practitioner offering short-term or open-ended counselling and psychotherapy to adults and groups. My approach is grounded in humanistic and existential principles, but I can also adopt a more active and solution-focused approach that integrates therapeutic coaching elements where suitable. I am guided by your preferences and the relational dynamics that emerge in our work, to facilitate change in ways that engage your strengths whilst inviting exploration of your growth edges. I bring over 20 years of experience working in different settings such as the NHS, university counselling services, staff counselling and third-sector organisations. Over the years I have worked with individuals facing a broad spectrum of life challenges, including stress and anxiety, dilemmas and life transitions, loss and grief, burnout and workplace challenges, relationship difficulties, moral injury or difficulties around finding purpose and meaning. Due to my international experience, I often get approached by clients whose lives cross languages, cultures and borders. You might identify as a migrant, live a mobile or international lifestyle, be part of an intercultural relationship, or be raising children in a multi-heritage family. With a culturally sensitive approach, I offer space to gain understanding of your experiences with compassion and insight.
