About
Andrew
Andrew is an experienced psychotherapist who is in the final stages of amending his doctoral thesis to qualify as a Counselling Psychologist. He is a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with doctoral level training in psychodynamic therapy. Andrew has worked across several NHS mental health services, specialising in a range of anxiety and depression-related difficulties, including trauma-focused CBT. Andrew’s approach to therapy is integrative, drawing on a range of therapeutic tools and models to meet the unique needs of individuals and couples. At the heart of his work lies a commitment to understand client’s lived experience and the ways in which they make sense of their lives. He takes time to understand the social and cultural contexts that shape his clients lives and how these continue to influence their sense of selves.
Andrew is great. Very patient and understanding, and I felt very comfortable speaking to him.
