MSc Neuropsychology MA Person centred counselling and psychotherapy
I believe that our deepest desire is to grow and flourish through nurturing and accepting relationships. However, these natural tendencies towards growth and flourishing could become compromised as we face adversity in life. We might even lose sight of them altogether. At these times we will feel confused, lost, and alienated from ourselves. As we become further estranged from ourselves through problematic or even abusive relationships, so we can find ourselves again through more authentic, accepting, and nurturing ones.
The therapeutic relationship can facilitate lasting changes as the person feels the safety necessary to process memories, feelings, and experiences that earlier have felt too threatening or overwhelming for them to experience fully. Georgios holds a research masters in Neuropsychology from Maastricht University and an MA in Person-centred and Experiential Psychotherapy from the University of Nottingham. He has experience with various presenting issues, including trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, compulsive lying, low self-esteem, men’s issues, and addiction.
